International Labour Academy

The agreement between the “Labour Consultants Study Foundation” and the Link Campus University Foundation has been signed. It provides for the establishment of a "Research Center" and an international school for the study of Italian and international labour law, of active labour relations and policies.

The centre of excellence dedicated to research, study and deepening of labour law issues, as well as to the analysis of the economic and social context of reference and changes taking place, will be called “International Labour Academy”. A project that stems from the convention signed on December 19, 2018 between the “National Council of the Labour Consultants Order Study Foundation” and the Link Campus University Foundation. The agreement was signed by the President of the “Labour Consultants Study Foundation”, Rosario De Luca, and the President of the Link Campus University Foundation, Vincenzo Scotti.

Collaboration continues for a "high-quality specialist training" that for a long time has been linking the “National Council of the Order” and Link Campus University of Rome. For the academic year 2018-2019, thanks also to the collaboration with the ENPACL, they organized the Master's degree course in "Work Advice and workfare systems" aimed at training experts in economics and labour law.

With the new project the two Foundations - in addition to promoting the analysis of Italian and international labour law, of active labour relations and policies - will organize institutional meetings and international events aimed at defining research projects on global changes in the world of work. The objectives of the agreement include the definition of graduate programs, MBA and PHD and other higher learning and continuing education initiatives, to be carried out at Link Campus University involving international research centers and universities. At the same time, the Academy will support the Advanced Training School of the “Labour Consultants Study Foundation” in creating the rich calendar of specialization courses dedicated to professionals in the world of work.

To carry out the planned projects - as written in the agreement – a "Research Centre" dedicated to the analysis, deepening and study activities, and a training school called "Labour Academy International School" which will host academic and post-academic training projects, will be founded. The agreement also provides for the involvement of other bodies and public and private institutions to promote the political debate on labour issues.

Commenting on the agreement, the President of the “Labour Consultants Study Foundation”, Rosario De Luca said: "The skills and the quality of training - he highlighted - are the keys for tomorrow's professionals to better face the challenges of the future, making a difference in a increasingly competitive labour market ". "Through this project - said the President of the Link Campus University Foundation, Vincenzo Scotti - continues the cooperation started some years ago with the “Labour Consultants Foundantion” in order to form a ruling class that is adequate and able to use those specific skills that are increasingly required in an ever-changing economic, political and social context ". "With the establishment of the Academy - underlined the President De Luca - we want to act on two fronts: on the one hand, being able to identify with ever greater precision and speed the changes in the labour market through research and analysis of current trends; on the other hand, responding to changes in an equally effective way, with tailor-made training courses for professionals in the labour market ".
